The Advocates for Human Rights Training Institute

book, statuette of Lady Justice, and gavel on desk

The Advocates for Human Rights believes that each one of us has a part to play in defending human rights. We provide training and technical assistance to partners, clients, and volunteers to build the global human rights movement.

Our trainings focus on key human rights skills and knowledge and are grounded in the expertise of our staff. When our clients experience injustice, we provide training to help them change the systems that perpetuate those injustices. When our partners report barriers to safety and security, they rely on our technical assistance to identify the gaps in legal protections and develop solutions.

The Advocates trainings serve as a support and guide for human rights defenders worldwide to help them create effective, sustainable improvements in human rights and build a more just world.
