Human Rights Committee - Rights of Non-citizens - 2006

In its 1995 Concluding Observations, the Human Rights Committee expressed concern that excludable aliens in the U.S. enjoyed a lower standard of due process. Unfortunately, through a combination of legislative and regulatory changes over the past 10 years, access to due process and effective remedy has been significantly curtailed for aliens who are in the process of being expelled from the U.S.
